A weekend goes by so quickly. Quite annoying. Sunay was good shopping, walking around prospective future home neighbourhoods, carrying loads off stuff up many many stairs (free exercise) and having a curry on Brick Lane. It was nice to see some of the "london Gang" (for want of a better expression) and just spend a relaxing day with Linus. Travelling is not in itself too painful (the check in and security controls were the quickest ever - 20 min!) but it takes such long time. From one home to the other (including all the waiting) I've spent around 15 hours this week end travelling. It's good I've got a fabulous incentive to do it. Feel good to be home though and having unpacked. But I'll be back in London sooner than one can imagine.
One funny incident did happen at the airport. When walking through the shoescannning que (yes, there is such a thing) the guard by the monitor said "Would you please sit down Madame!". I got a bit worried and answered "What me?". He looked at me in a conteptious way saying "Is your name m Adam?". I feelt very foolish but I was reasured by the man behind me in the line who confirmed that he had seemed to say Madame by saying something like "He's probably not polite enough to use the word Madame". That made me feel better. We'll I'm sure it's better to have annoyed a guard a little than having ignored one (face down in the ground sort of thing...).
