There I was, feeling as if time was moving forward at normal speed and bam! it's December. And before I can enjoy X-mas I have loads to do: scholl project, career counceling, applications ad nauseam. Well, I suppose that's life for you.
I had a lovely first Advent Sunday, The Tolstoys came to visite m
e in my humble abode and we had a light, traditional Swedish X-mas meal (Mr Jansson's Temptation, sausages, meat balls, glögg (hot wine), and safforon buns) and swapped X-mas gifts. Very nive indeed. Afterwards we took a trip into town to see the illumination of the tree of lights in central Lund and take a peek at the crafts market with stuff from the design school in town. I really enjoyed myself. Later in the evening I went to Lovisa to celebrate advent and her coinciding birthday. I had to many sweetmeats - especially the home made italian chocolate nougat. But I'm very tired. Have been all week and the week to come I won't be able to sleep the days away bummer. On top of which some one is going to come to fix something with my ventilation in my flat. He'll come tomorrow, or Tuesday, or Wednesday. At what time? God knows, perhaps. Looking forward to it. NOT.
