After a sumer of emailed reports and blogging I came to realise
(again) and received comments about how important food is in my life. Not mainly as a ingrediantfor my everyday survival, but mostly for the pure pleasure of eating it. We invited Linda and Jonas for dinner before going to a house warming party and my main consideration a couple of days was: what to serve. There are mainly two alternatives: something deliscious which has gone through the trail of being made before and consequently eaten, or taking a risk and making something which seems interresting but might just be disgusting. We opted for the second one and prepared a mexican choclate based casserloe Mole de Oaxaca. We did good. Served with tortillas, guacamole and quinoa this dish based on a paste mad of (amongst other things) bananas, raisins, onions, garlic, chili, nuts, seeds and spices of many sorts , diluted with broth, in which, when simmering, was added chocolate to melt and when having cooked a while to athick sauce was complemented with chicken and vegetables (slightly cooked in advance) and then left to simmer was absolutely deliscious and an experience to be repeated. Or else the daiquiris and mojitos made us believe so. :) No, I'm planning on making this again. So all you have to ask yourselves is: who will be the next MOLE-VICTIME.
